The Cookie Jar House

Yes, this house is shaped like a giant cookie jar. When it was built there were plans to build several more of them. Gives new meaning to the phrase cookie cutter condos. I really don’t know much else about this unique house.

Many years ago I lived down the street from that house. It is on Philips Ave, Runnemede, NJ. I used to live at 248 Phillips Ave. Shisler Cir. was the across the street from my home with S. Woodland Ave was next to my old home. W. Clements Bridge Rd., is the major roadway to the North. Hope this helps. Look it up on Zillow which has the “Birdseye” views of the local streets!

I must correct myself. the actual address for the Cookie Jar house is: 1028 Rowand Ave., Glendora, NJ. I was 5 at the time and did not realize my mom would drive by that house, just to let us see it. Always thought it was up the street from us. Actually, it was several streets over.

Hey u! I was just browsing your site and I came across the Cookie Jar House. I live in Runnemede NJ, which is just a town away from Glendora, where this house is located. This house is great. Me and my friends actually were partying one night and decided to go and see the inside. The people who live there are very nice and if you come at a reasonable time and date will even let u see the inside. The inside of the house, amazing is also as round as the outside! There is also another cool place to check out in Glendora. There is a little old couple who owns this house. Every Halloween, Christmas, and other holidays, etc., they cover they’re whole front yard with ungodly lights and decorations. I mean, its blinding. You have to go and see it. These people have been doing it for years! Kids love going and visiting. They even have a Santa there at Christmas time. Love the site. Keep it up.
