Toms River Halloween Parade

The Toms River Halloween Parade is the largest Halloween parade in the entire country, and 2nd largest in the world. There are 5000-6000 participants, and 100,000 onlookers. Anyone wanting to partake simply registers at the fire house the day of the parade then shows up at the mall parking lot where the parade begins. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to walk the parade route and at the end is a judging stand. To keep the parade manageable, they separate people into groups and every group is awarded 1st 2nd and 3rd place prizes.
